Onto Ronaldo, i said this a while ago, yes he may say he wants to leave, and he has done now, but it isn't his decision, and i dont think united will let him go yet

It's all similar to the last major championships, some managers and players tap him up and the idiot listens and says he wants to leave. As has this year with Scolari, and i'm guessing Pepe, along with Heinze texting him saying he should join

Personally i don't think he will go anywhere this season, although if he does he's not bigger than the club and we'll continue on, we'll just have to sign one extra player as well as a striker, everyone gets replaced and it's a bad move for his career imo

If it were me i'd sell him now for a massive wedge. But I hope they keep him and make him sulk on the bench would be some just deserts that

Robbo you seem to spend an awful lot of time on Uniteds website!

I agree with Cosmotron () about Rooney and Tevez being world class if they were with an out and striker too.

£50m could buy us some pretty good prospects to enhance the squad. Sure we'll miss Ronaldos ability to be in the right place at the right time but Giggs will go back to being the penalty taker, we'll have to rely more on Park and Nani, and both can only benefit from more time on the pitch. Not that I'm comparing their abilty to Ronaldos. They're both decent wingers though.

I'd rather he left if this is how he feels, I'd hate to have an Anelka player in the squad that cared more about where his next pay check/transfer was coming from.

Need a striker now!

He is the only player who could replace him IMO, much like Torres is the only player who could replace Ronaldo at United and you'd be sure you'd get around the same amount of goals.

Im not saying others couldnt come in and do it, but its a big big job to find someone who has never played in the Prem who you can be sure of scoring 20+ league goals in a season.

I'd sign Ronaldinho and tell him to stop eating pies and partying with hookers.

I'd be happy with that Rooney behind Torres would be some partnership. As it is now Rooney is wasted out wide or on his own up front, what we would lose from Ronaldo would be made up for by Torres plus the extra 30% you'd get from Rooney behind a top striker.

United should demand a huge amount of money for the inconvienience and and so we have a nice wedge of cash to spend on replacements.
