A mate of mine from our local Vauxhall site has, over the last few months, been secretly having this built by 888.

I think it looks amazing

Some of you may know that i always like to go to PVS with a surprize - Last year was the Calibra and this year was my '888' Estate :GRIN:

Ive always wanted to do this since the mk5 888 was released and i like to be different - this year i was able to do it so i went for it!
Its not finished yet as i still have plans but heres some pics for people that didnt see it at PVS
I will be honest and say it turned out better than i thought

At 888

Day before PVS - After 2 coats of Zanio ZX2 Pro and DODO Light fantastic

Spec is as follows

*EDS/888 Remap
*ITG Panel Filter
*Full 888 suspension
*Alcon/888 4 pot brakes
*18'' 888 lightweight alloys with toyo proxes T1R's
*Custom grille
*smoked side lights
*Custom '888' logo on dash and full SMD conversion by VXRcourt3 (Daz)

My WONDERFULL girlfriend got me the private plate for my birthday - suits the car dont ya think

Plus all the extras i had from the factory like full leather, AFL etc

Still some bits to do..
*RARB
*Uprate speakers
*VXR front seats & Steering wheel (without logo)

and his girlfriend owns this Astra VXR -

Which is VERY quick.

am i missing something? its an astra estate with pro race 1s, big brakes, lowered suspension and a bit more power. Those wheels on the astra VXR look cock with the blue rim.

It's been converted to 888 Adam, which does include wheels, suspension, brakes and a map which takes it to 200bhp, then some 888 stickers, and you've got a 888

Actually read the whole thread. I have a feeling some of us met his missus at the NE meet about April last year, as they were at the pub too, from VX Torque or something. I think her car is actually an 888 test car, therefore doesn't pay for much.

Stavs had a pretty long chat with her I think.
