unless you're on big boy salary i wouldnt recommend living in London (well renting), it can cost you so much.

That's low! Most are on about 40k?

They're lucky if they get to drive on Victoria or Central Line, they don't have to do fuck all except open the doors, it's all automatic! I know a couple of train drivers who've passed degree's from reading books in the train cab.

TBH I'm sure it's more than £34k, but I didn't know if that sounded stupid. £34k was a saftey net

I'm on a little less than that and you quite often hear people moaning about how drivers get 40k for sitting on there arse!

London is a shit hole. You're gonna be spending near on £15-20K on rent/mortgage anyway, so unless you're gonna earn £50K+ it's very not worth it.
