Check next week mate

Rest of parts should be sprayed on Monday, allowed to set until Wednesday and then i can build the shell up FINALLY!

A little more paint is needed on the inside, then its onto the engine install and electrics....

Thanks again all,

Fuel filler will be re-located in the rear quater window i should imagine, havent decided 100% yet but that seems most practical place as tank will be in rear of the car

We managed to get the doors, wings and boot sprayed today which is awesome so when they have hardened (wednesday) enough to build up the shell that will be done!

Yeah im not keen on the Look of the bonnet either mate.

It was more performance over looks if im honest (forced induction to the throttle bodies).

I think a carbon item is in the lime-lite as the bonnet is generally CRAP quality anyway for a fibreglass item.

did u need to filler over it?

My fibreglass boot was as it is now, it has NO holes for anything as is a "rally item".

Its pointless getting one of these and then installing a wiper / motor etc etc.

I think i am however going to attatch the latch mechanism and have it on a pull cord as i dont really fancy installing bonnet pins on the boot-

Had an hour free tonight, and weather was pleasant so got as far as fitting the door rubbers and boot rubber on and all the panels, Rear lights and the wheels. Can really see the contrast now:

I have decided i hate the bonnet, its fibreglass with gel-coat finish and its looks really un-smooth now its painted. I may bear with it for now and get a carbon fibre one in the future!
