They are reinforced on the jacking points, and the scissor jack supplied with the spare is shaped to fit in the semi circle area! Stick a block of soft wood between the trolley jack and the car and it will be fine! Just dont jack in the middle of the sills where there are no semi circles! Thats why corsa gsi's have jacking point covers in those places!

go on autodata it tells you to do it there

on a ramp is diffrent

i would never jack a car up on the sill, as it will fold the sill over with a normal trolley jack

anywhere bar the double skinned bit i agree, but thats what that bits there for.

half an hour ago, after i had used a trolly jack on the sills, nothing folded over.

Was a mechanic that done it as well btw, one that jacks cars up on the sills every day the same as all the other mechanics he works with, no complaints about folded sills.
