Hi all i'm looking to get a few last min mods in before pvs, and stretched tyres is a big one on my list, the profile i'm going for is 165/50/15 and was hoping if anyone could find any pics of these tyres on a 15" 7J wheel?

davey had them on his ronal turbos on his corsa c, think he was a member on here but defo a member on corsa-c.co.uk

That will look cool, especially when decked, what you doing with your old tires just out of interest? because arent they pretty much new?

yeah i was having a look today, and they've still got the yellow stripe running around the tread! but tbf the new tyres arn't going to be expensive, and i'll keep the oldies, untill i need some cash?!!

as long as they arent being driven on the sidewall they are okay, but pointless other than for looks really

i think they look stupid. on wide wheels they look ok but narrow wheels with even narrower tyres they look daft. it doesnt make your wheels look wide at all

on wide wheels yes, they look nice when you have some 225s nice and stretched but 165s are getting towards steelie width

The tyres on my D90's have a slight stretch on the rear.. Not really got any pics but looks cool!

yeahhh, so i'm going from a 195/45/15 tyre, to a 165/50/15 thus stretched tyres on a wider wheel.

I've seen a golf with the same width and wheel size as mine, and with 165/50's on it and the stretch didnt look massive, i still cant picture how big it would be on mine though.

My mate had stretched tyres on his carrado, it failed the mot as the wheels stuck out, just a note you might want to consider, im not 100% on the laws, but i think theyve got to be properly under the arch, not stuck past it - feel free to correct me if im wrong
