To be honest, although Compomotives are great wheels, they're VERY heavy, I wouldn't buy a set again.

TD Pro races are great, or some of the speedlines

Rota wheels appear to also be good value for money and very light but come in very limited fitments

Well, Pro Race 1.2's are the current BTCC wheel. The Pro Race 2's are made using the same methods and they both offer light yet strong properties. A 15x7 PR1.2 wheel at et45 (highest you can get) is 6.3kg. A compomotive of the same size weighs just over 8kg.
I have a set of 1.2's and they are spot on!

I have a leaflet somewhere where they bang on about how light and strong they are, but i dont know anyone that has used them and can comment on the strength.

I didnt weigh mine, (16") but they were one hell of alot lighter than a set of MO's i have, but they are 17's
