is it possible to get a dump valve 4 a td because i love it when u hear a car blast past then u hear the dump vavle, is their a website tht sells tuning parts for the 1.5 td?

really i would of though all dump vavles sound the same just some are louder then others like, well is their a website 4 tuning parts for them

no, td's pressure is used in a completely different way to a petrol, theres no throttle plate etc

Im not sure how you would do it without having a throttle to close?

Saying that though I have seen a diesel with one before but im unsure if that had a throttle valve or not

you can have a dump valve on a diesel car, my mate has done loads of pug 306's but as said not cheap i think he was charging 250 a pop a year ago, never really got into it but from what i remember is worked of the brake vaccum.

I had one on my 306, They are electronic with a microswitch on throttle , I had a bailys dumpvalve on mine sounded good

dump valve on a diesel.......why?


imo, just like putting a dump valve "sound" attachment on the exhaust of an N/A car

1.5td are NOT fast, still sound like a tractor, why would you want to make it worse with:

Not every diesel sounds like a tractor Mine had a full pipercross s/s system and sounded so nice even on boost it sounded sweet

yeah a dumpvalve is pritty pointless on a derv but who cares?
