Hi there
this is my corsa here...





...and i'm a bit bored of the look and i was thinking in changing a bit with some iron wheels that have been widen...

15'' 4x100
3 x 8.5''
2 x 9''









...what do you all think, would them suit the car?

I'm currently having some steels widened. They will be 15x8's for the front and 15x9 for the rear

i had some 8 inch wide banded steels, there brilliant you dont have to clean em and they still look hard as nails

Those Technomags weigh next to nothing, the steels will be a fair amount heavier, my 6" wide steels weigh about 1.5 times what my 7.5" alloys did, of the same diameter, 9" wide would weigh about twice as much, and my Ronals weighed more then Technomags

for a corsa you could use vectra steels or vw g60 wheels. cost about £350 to get them banded

Some Corsa C's had 15" steels too.

G60 steels are £160 new, and you'd need spigot rings as the centre bore is bigger.

I reckon the Corsa C steels would be less money to start with.

True. I suppose with that sort of power the extra weight wouldn't matter too much anyway.

unsprung weight would effect it more than the gearing i imagine, i may be wrong though

in a 300bhp let they would have to be huge to notice a difference in speed lol

Good luck finding 15" 4 stud steelies! Took me a couple of months to find a decent set. Mine are with wide-wheels now
