Well to get into rallying you need a rally licence which is about £300 and everything needs to be fia approved seats, rollcage, harnesses etc.
Then enter a rally or championship, you can still race in all the stages but not enter the championship if you want which is cheaper, but you can't win then.

UPDATE

Rear disk beam put on, previous owner of the beam put red all over the disks ohwell.

Seam welded chassis at the rear...

...and at the front crossmember...

Welded up tie bar bushes

Bonnet scoop made from a bus TV screen surround, does the job for cold air to the carbs...

Boot was cut out a bit, because of rust, will be plated up.
Drain holes in floor welded up.
Sunroof welded up.

If your thinking of rallying this make sure that crossmember is solid it'll get a hell of a beating and stress after you put on a sumpguard.

yeah thats why it was welded up, prob could do with strengthening plates.
I hope the sump guard would get destroyed before the crossmember anyway.

Have you actually put the strengthening kit on the crossmember?? Thought about a fibreglass tailgate rather than welding that one up and having to fill it??

to be honest we are trying to keep costs like that down it is me that has done all the welding! with the boot as u can see i have cut most of it away on the out side and inside even the suports in the inside of it so i have done away with the weight but added just a wee bit on with a plate and filler
