Little update - Picked my Electric mirrors up last night thanks to Gregg from round my way who has the XE gsi on sxi wheels. Also after Vauxhall fucked up i should pick up my rear mudflaps tonight. Shall try and fit them this weekend.

UPDATE : 12.11.2007

Right i haven't any picys yet but will sort them out as soon as i can get on my comp at home. Anyway i have not got my electric mirrors as mentioned above but on Sunday night i also took delivery of my V6 brakes. Big thanks to Daz 1.2 for these. So its now time i guess to start fitting all the things that i have bought for the car. Oh and my rear mudflaps are on and look

love the wheels mate, gonna start saving for a set to go on the grey gsi i think. as for the electrics in the doors, the loom should be in the car and wired as far as the plug that goes into the door, so you just need to change the door loom just pull the old one out and swap it all plugs will be on one loom.

UPDATE : 02.12.2007

Well After ages and ages i finally got off my lazy arse and decided to fit my brakes which i got of Daz

. So here goes. My mate yesterday rang me up and asked if i was doing anything to which i replied no. We had a chat and he kindly offered to fit them. So off i went upto his farm.

His dad owns a tipper firm so kindly let us use one of the bays. In the car went.

These are what we where fitting. V6 brakes with drilled and grooved discs.

Any way Loosened wheel nuts off and then jacked it up.

So with one side done we moved onto the other

Eventually all was done so a before shot

and an after shot

I also when we finished doing the brakes we went a steam cleaned it. Had a mess about with the settings on the camera and came out with this result.

UPDATE : 04.12.2007 not so good.

The Backbox decided it no longer wanted to stay whole due to the rust and so i now have one pipe and one hole on the backbox and sounds fucking shite.

Next job new backbox.
