Well at last i have managed to get my hands on a GSI. Not picked it up yet but its mine. Any way picy is not mine but this is the car i am getting.

Any way with the car sorted i found out that it had no electric windows or mirrors. So a quick look on Ebay and i found



An electric window and central locking kit. I also had a look and found some switches for the windows. So bought these also.

It has got door handles. Don't know why it hasn't on that photo.

I also needed to sort the door cards out. I have to thank Dean off here who put me in touch with his mate Gav and about 5 hours later i had the door cards and pods to accomodate the Electric switches.

Next to sort out was the steering wheel, not keen on the standard one and as its not got an airbag i looked on Ebay and found this



Next i decided that i wanted to change the rear wiper so again looked on Ebay and found this so i bought it.



Thats it for the moment. Pick the car up this weekend so there will be loads of picys then.

Plans for it are to getting it looking smarts as fuck, i.e paintwork and bodywork and then maybe over the winter drop a valver or LET in there.

CorsaCF - Sorry mate i drove 5 hours to get this. Well my brother did.

John - Will do. I know roughly where to look for rust. There is some on the boot and a little bit on the driverside rear arch. No wasn't an ebay buy i got it off MIkeZ20LET off here and yes i have seen it in person. Inside is imaculate and the bodywork is in great condition for age. I am not going to change anything on the outside as you said it looks mint as it stands.

bonza, picture looked like an ebay special, from what youv said outside is spot on my 1st one had it on the boot and arch, notin a couple of hours of buzzin back and sprayin wont fix, best colour i think too, bonus its got softstars and sits and a good stance too, means minimal tweeking for you

Yeah softstars look brandnew not a mark on any wheel and tyres are brand new also. Its sat at the moment on 60mm spax springs with standard dampers.
Don't know whether to get uprated dampers or not and if so which?

id get unprated shocks, it wont be doin the standard shocks any good as the longer then uprated shocks.

plus if it was anythin like my 1st corsa wen it was lowered 40/60 on standard shocks the ride was bloody bouncy

Like i said went for a drive in it and it wasn't that bouncy TBH, so thats another thing to get - uprated shocks

if its ok then dont worry about it

worst that can happen is the shocks burst but in that case you will need new ones anyway so you could always drive on they and see how they go

notin saying you "HAVE" to change them bud

No i know but for peace of mind i guess. Might just get coilovers, then if i do drop a valver in then its ready then

Well Its been quite busy these last couple of days at our house all these came with exception of the door cards.

Yeah thanks greg for them doorcards.

The car comes home on Saturday so lots of picys over the weekend.

Muppet my room is a really dark and the duvet is dar red but its the flash thats turned it pink
