The exhaust is catching on the chassis at the minute which is the rattle you can hear. I've not had chance to fit it correctly.

Cheers chaps.

Thing I still have left to do are:
Remove rest of sound deadening.
Finish installing front seats, carpets and door cards.
Put dash back together.
Fit looms for electric windows, mirrors and fog lights.
Adjust gear linkage.
Fit exhaust properly.
Add brake fluid and bleed brakes.
Paint wheels.
Find and install some rear seats.

I can't think anything else at the minute but i'm sure there's loads left to do.
I've got a week off work at the end of the month so i'm hoping to have it ready for the road by February and ready to attend PV

Cheers. It wasn't too hard to do really.
Just need a boot popper which I got off ebay for around £15 for 2. I doubt they'll last forever but i'll buy better ones when/if they break.

I couldn't have left the smooth cap on it's own, Would do my head in scratching the paint trying to open the cap every time I fill up.

I've got the boot on a popper too, I've used the wiper motor wiring. At the moment there's a delay on the power to the boot popper until I bypass the relay.

Very interesting read.

Nice project.

edit; is the boot popper wired up to a small switch or something?

Where did you wire the fuel cap button up to?
Where are the buttons from?

Buttons are from a Saab, 95 I think. They have them fitted to the doorcards.
It's wired directly to the door popper which is bolted behind the hinge of the cap.

There's a few pics of the popper fitted and a video of the flap in operation a few pages back.

Aye, Team Dynamics Monza.
Got a bargain on ebay, They're brand new and were only machined and painted for me after winning.
Took about a month to arrive but theyturned up yesterday.
Was funny as i'd been in work from 1am until 11am then straight upto my mates to help get his new Cav ready for MOT. Didn't get home until gone 6, Walked in the house like a zombie until I seen the boxes. Apparently I was like a kid at christmas
