 i had those wheels on my corsa, the look better once lowered ! needs to be -80 rear - 60 front to set them off imo

I'll have you know those Lexus lights are going straight on after the paint job. Only kidding, I removed them but will smash them up with a lump hammer
I quite like the wheels myself, Think I'll have them done in a gun metal grey colour.

Well it's been a long time since i've updated so here goes.
Plans have changed since December, I've bought a C20XE and F20 to go in the Corsa now.
Having checked over the engine it looks in good conditon for being 18 years old but I'm replacing the big end shells and fitting ARP rod bolts too. Here's the engine waiting for the shells, ARPs and sump to be fitted.
Here's how the car currently looks

Along with the smooth boot and bumpers i'm having a smooth fuel cap, Green cap is a test cap to try the popper.
Here's the boot popper and fuel cap popper fitted. I know the boot is nowhere near smooth, It's just had the first layer of filler which i'm sanding down before the top skim.
The car is quite good as a dumping ground, The boot is full of all the crap I'm fitting to it including the Volvo heated seat pads and Tigra scuttle amongst other things.
And here's the gauge pod I made, It's painted in Satin black which I think is too shiney so it's getting done in matt black soon.
The car is booked in the bodyshop mid July, By then me and Gaz need to have the engine in and all the bodywork prepped for spraying

The .com wasn't that poverty I don't think. Has CDX alloys
There are a set of those Irmscher Sigma/na's on eBay at the moment. They're my favourite Irmy alloy.

Just a wire brush attachment on a drill. Be warned though wear goggles because I was stabbed loads of times as the metal spikes fly off the wheel and into my chest
Basically anything metal including bolts etc that are accessible now are being cleaned up with the wire brush, Note the dipstick tube/oil breather pipe that's sat on the rocker cover I think it looks nice.
I'm in the process of doing the fuel rail and throttle body now.

It'll be good once it's finished I hope. I'm trying to get it on the road by late August....Wish me luck
I'm hoping the Irmy wheels looks good in anthracite, I've already bought the Silver paint and a nice Anthracite/black for the wheels and roof rails.
Them CDX wheels would look quite nice if my cousin hadn't wrecked them on kerbs, Has 4 good Michelin tyres on too. The tyres will be sold and wheels weighed in.

Should of welded the boot though the fibreglass will sink and crack after a while.

Boot is welded fella, The fibreglass was left over from a bumper so I stook it in.
That's why there's a big hole in the N/S wing, It's where I got the metal for the boot

It's in although not wired or plumbed yet.
Also fitted a GSi anti roll bar as the standard one was a poor effort.

Deffo up for getting some good pics when it's finished. It's in the paintshop next week. I know you can get away without using a popper but I like toys

The popper is quite easy to fit really, It just took a little time to figure where to mount it and bit of tweeking to get it working right.
Here's the progress of my last day on the car until I return from my hols.
Day after I fly home the car goes for painting
I know it doesn't look like much has been done but the plastci arches have been smoothed and bonded to the car to avoid clearance issues when lowered, Also bonded the sideskirts on too.
And here it is tucked up for the week whilst i'm away

Are they sideskirts genuine Steiny ones? what is happening with all the screws in them when they have been removed they will just leave holes or are they going to be filled etc?
