Not really updated this in a while, not been much to update on. Been off the road since Septembere. Just been cleaning bits up iv not been happy with. Engines back out to be painted up for this years show season. Few bits going away to get powder coated and polished.

Couple pictures of how its sitting just now

Played with the ride hight on the rear, brought it up so the car is actually driveable. Raised the front aswell, but went a bit mental with the spanners

Before

And raised up

Also picked the interior up. MJ Interiors retrimmed nova gsi seats and door cards. In half leather half alcantara. Also new rooflining in alcantara with all the pillars retrimmed in alcantara.

So set about fitting the rooflining today.
Windscreen and both rear quarter windows had to come out, ended up cracking the windscreen though!

Old rooflining ripped out, literally

And this is as far as i got fitting the new alcantara one. Going to need a extra pair of hands to stretch it tightly into place. So got a mate coming to give a hand tomorow. So just pegged it into place all ready to get it in properly tomorow.

Hoping to have full interior in by end of weekend so will update then

Got it finished off today. Interiors in, jus need to get the windows back in. And source a new windscreen as it got cracked when getting removed

Few pictures, not the best but crap weather outside so couldnt roll it out.

Still got it held in by pegs just as the glue is still setting. Also need to get the electric sunroof motor fitted.

Well at a time when i should really be getting it running and on the road for the better weather coming in, i decided to take more bits off. I dont know where thus obsession with taking bits off comes from, but its really starting to piss me off.
Plans were to take inlet manifold, cam carrier and rocker cover off fo powdercoating. But decided i wanted to send my cylinder head off for big valve spec, so off with that aswell!

Note the rusty turbo manifold

And in pieces again

Got the main man at Chizfab fabrication to cut me a hole in the inner wing for my turbo to AFM hose.

Also been waiting for this for a few weeks. But with years of abuse taking is toll on my turbo manifold, i wanted to do something about it. So asked about and was advised to get it ceramic coated.

Certainly wasnt cheap  But definetly worth it. New turbo will be done to match when it arrives.
