stuck the spoiler on last night but it was about 2mm off centre, so i took it off again and altered it.. job done in 10 mins.

so i cleaned the car, and took some pics.

Na Lights to Turbo Lights.

Just standard sat on the drive.


Just an example of the shite that was in my lights.


Ok, first light is out.


Glass off! This was very scarey!


All masked up.


I wanted the same paint all over so primered it all


Then the matt black



Masking tape removed..


I scratched the black bit on this one, so i just resprayed it black. (you cant even tell now)


sticking back together.


Done.


The rears are still drying in the garage, and will leave them a couple of hours.

Because i didnt have enough grips, the front lights were tacky so i have stuck masking tape on them now holding them in place.

Really nice and the mods are subtle yet make a big differance. Shame the red doesn't show up too well in some pictures!

in all its finished (for now) glory

bu i think they are abit too blue, might get some 4500K bulbs instead, then they will look more like the BMW lights..

i miss my vx220, have the coloiovers made much difference to handling, which ones did u go for??

looks stunning lowered!!!! and all other bits u done, brave taking lights apart, shows how well the 220 is put together.......hehe

Top project thread, really like this. Lad here at work has a VX 2.2

After getting under it on the ramps you really can apreciate that this is a purpose built race car. The chassis and suspension is far from road car
