I was thinking that I have had around the same amount done on mine and dont think it even came to £200

no mate, that lot came to £200, but what I was saying is if I get loads more done and it comes to £500 to make everything nice and shiney I'd be cool with that.

just make sure you clean up the drum face before you bolt the wheel on mate

yes there a few faces of the engine parts which are going to need cleaning up/machined slightly to get the coating off. Cheers mate!

parts were rare at the time, yards know the price of the rear beams so not cheap. Did price up all the rear sri bits to go for discs but it came to near enough £500 iirc

I'm hoping just having discs on the front on 4 pots or something will be enough stopping power.

now i have rear discs, it stops so much better, before with drums the back used to step out, now the car stops quicker and straighter

never had a prob with drums on mine .. think lee303 has drums on his nova still too.

Drums were always fine on mine tbh with the 4pots up front. Just the chrome/silver looks abit wank tbh.

drums dont look great at the best of times but with all the underneath matching I think it should look good against some black/white wheels

that was my base on if i need disks or not lee doesnt need them, then i doubt i will
