Budget for your car a month?!

For eg, like finance/loan re-payment + insurance + tax/mot etc?

At the moment im spending only £60 a month on insurance as i have paid for the car just pay for MOT/tax when it comes around.


Just intrested to see what some people spend

I pay insurance, tax and MOT annually so just pay for petrol. £10 a week at most.

Tax paid
Car paid
Mods...... anything from £5-£400

Insurance, TAX, MOT all get paid when they are due.

Although I'l have to pay my TAX and Insurance next month to cover the 2.0 16v

£80 per month insurance.
£20-30 week petrol
Tax and MOT come in Sept.

I make enough to run my car, can't afford to mod it.

103 a month insurance, pay tax when i next to, and about £160 a month on petrol on average

-Approx £200 on petrol
-Then untold fixing the vauxhall scrapper..

Spent this month: 800, and i still have to Tax And MOT it

when I am driving again i will budget £1000:
Insurance: 250
Petrol: 250 ( I drive alot!)
And around 250 again For Mods/ Incase something breaks
And the rest i will put away till i have enough for a quicker Engine

Car is owned outright, insurance and tax paid for annually as well.

Just fuel, servicing/maintenance/ mods and cleaning products.

Fuel - £200-300 (business usage as well)
Mods - sometimes £500+ other months nada

£500 loan and insurance, as chose short loan plan. Insurance is actually payed but works out at £200ish per month! Then prob the same on fuel and repairs
