Fuck all has changed setup wise, apart from the euro bottom bracket coming in.

Lookin at about 5/600quid for a basic setup

I used to have a pretty hard core Heavy tools screamer, spent alot on that.

Then i dismantled it, and it's ia suitcase in my Loft.

Now if i fancy a ride, my bog standard Haro Backtrail X3 does the job.

ahh mate those flybike bmxs on the 1st page are lush, i use to want a pantera frame and build it up. i had a on-one gimp jump bike (hard tail mountain bike) and built that up. still got it but its seen better days lol. i wud stick pics up if had sum and knew how.

deano glad to see someone who enjoys freeride/dh.

im currently building my DH rig back up

DH8 (mediocre quality frame but takes abuse)
Marzocchi/Boxers if i cant be arsed rebuilding the bombers.
Hope/MRP/LX/XTR/Mavic bits etc

its all about the trails/jump, you dont have to push you bike back up after

Yup, love freeriding etc but still ride up the hills, as I used to be into XC. Don't do DH, helmet is a Met Parachute, so not full on full-face.

Off to France July 1st on an uplift week, can't wait

yep did hopton few years ago at the nationals and we got tractors to bring us up but pushing up aint that bad

been looking on dmr's web and found this lovely bike for £400 notes! mine cost over 1200

cant go wrong for 400, would fit the back of the corsa a treat...who makes the best dirt jump suspension these days marazoochi used to rule the roost ? any sujestions ?

Marzocchi only really make suspension, never really made bikes.

DMR are doing pretty well in terms of popularity (no idea about competitions etc), Flow frames are pretty tasty! Check out Cove (what I ride) from Canada. Expensive but awesome bikes.

check the link deano...thats the bike, but would want some kind of suspension to soften the front up a wee bit...i uses to hava dirt jumper 1's with the 20mm through axel on the old beast that i sold to antmahedpatels brother...

Ahhh didn't read your post properly

Yeah, I'd say Marzocchi are the leaders still. Magura forks are coming up pretty strong (strong as in good, not strength) now though

ive got some old marzocchi z3.5's in the garage, you can have them, they need a brace though (pre 2001 type fork)
