yeah im up for the RR, and a mini cruise, just decide where we are meeting and let me know, not too bothered as dont know my way around but can soon find places.

so if Edds got about 10 cars already lets get the list going of who wants to do the RR.

I'll go to both but wont put my car on the rollers - pick the new one up today or tomorrow so I've got to run it in for a bit...

I'll U2U some of the other local people again and see what I can do.

Same model as you in Silver, keeping my alloys and ICE to put in it though. Picking it up tomorrow night

Brand new for £7995 which I was fairly happy with.

To be honest u dont have to go on the rollers to go down to the rr day... do ya! If ur cars goin on the rollers and its a 1.2 y is that such a problem? Ppl are expecting less out of that than a 1.4 obviously! I fail to see how that kind of thing embarasses ppl!!!

I don't disagree with that but I still wont be on the rollers as I'll still be running the car in. I'll probably still go though and just go on the rollers the next time.

I agree but there is the other side of putting your motor on the RR, I had my 1.4 RR'd and it was actually putting out a lot less power than it should have been, was told that they traced it to a faulty sensor, dont know what it was, this was over a year ago so cant remember exactly, but this found a fault and I got 9bhp extra just by sorting my standard motor. what better way to see if the bits you buy actually improve the power

first time on the rollers the mechanic tells me that my old 1.4 put out 43BHP at the wheels, glad I wasnt there to be humiliated by that LOL

43bhp!
D'oh...

Good point though, it is a good indication of if your std spec is running as it should be.

hi mega was that figure at the wheels or crank, guess the crank, and was that the interpro one that we are hopefully going to , as mates tell me that RR differ, one of them had his car done twice in one week at diffrent places and there was about 5 bhp difference, also think that they ran it up in different gears, think this makes a difference

At the crank,

Yeah this was at interpro and yeah the different RRs do alter. Its best to stick with the same one all the time... otherwise u cud get inaccurate results.
U saw my car eh... hehe shes lookin a bit shabby at the mo but iv got big plans...
The 9th is good for me, meet at Cribbs causeway.. np.
Wot date do u want for the RR day? I say we have it a couple of weekends after...

Iv had a few words and im thinking about Sunday the 1st December?? Wot do u think. Iv so far got a few Vectas, Astras and a Corsa or two coming, but get as many people as u can, we'll get a hude spread if we get shit loads of cars.
Anyway, down to the more up to date stuff, who's out tonight? I wouldn't mind meeting up with a few of u lads b4 we all meet up on Sunday... so gimme a shout anyone thats out later.
Shall spk to u all l8r.
