You're not on your own though mate in the way you have learnt to drive, I had four lessons, and three tests. Seems backwards but it was the cheapest way.

Indeed it is! but still im not spending £500-600 on 40lessons it's just to much these days.

i did the same mate, 8 lessons and 3rd test, saved soooo much more than my mates who passed first time but did 20+ lessons

I think it's the best way tbh saves alot of cash that could be spent on the car!

Erm, first two examiners failed me for stupid reasons ie: I got a major for stopping at a green light because traffic was turning across me, I asked the examiner "what did you expect me to do crash into the traffic crossing in front of me?" He said "oh well I dont make the traffic laws, a green light means proceed" So I assume that was either being a c*nt in general or because I had a modified corsa! But at the end of the day mate, if you have an arsehole for an examiner, they are going to find something to fail you on.

Ya my friend got failed for 'not seeing a lorry' when she waited for it to go around the round-a-bout before pulling off behind it.
Depends on - If they have passed to many people on that day

i thought a green light meant proced BUT only if its safe to do so.

good luck mate, mine was at 11.11 :S its the only time my instructor would let his students take there test as the roads arent busy. :S hope it all goes well mate anyway

the test i passed on was at 9.37, i think its best time to do ur test as ur stuck in traffic for most of the 40 mins ur out.
