I'll definitely be buying a ps3.
The first XBOX had its flaws too when launched. But that doesn't mean people not buying it and not being happy with it
BTW I have both the XBOX and XBOX 360, so I'm not biased

I'm not biased either abdus, if the ps3 ends up being rubbish thats fair enough, anybody who's read my posts giving people totally unbiased advice in the past should know that.
It's just because suddenly you all have 360's they are the best thing on the planet and have forgotten about the equally bad press the 360 got at first.

My mate, whos family live in amercia, where im going in 2 weeks owns one and bought it here with him. He has a 360 and PS3. When he bought it he asked about the warranty/problems etc and was told parts are only covered for 1 year unless extra warranty is taken out.
John you own neither so kindly STFU
Not to mention it looks like it will be delayed again due to US/Asia shortage. By the time PS3 is running properly the new xbox will be out

I agree with Abdus, it has taken quite a few patches and updates from MS to get Live working how it is now which imo is just right.
You never used to be able to download and do other things, you can now. Same with the PS3, eventually they'll release a patch which will get it working. MS have had a year to sort out the problems.
I will be purchasing a PS3 purely for the likes of Gran turismo and Metal Gear (anyone who has seen the MGS trailers will agree with me there).

The controller replacement is different from the parts warranty
So all your info is from somebody who works in an electronics shop in america and is probably even more stupid that you are.

Do you never listen? i had ordered one, but mate let me play on his and i was disapoined with sony in the fact that the design has silly flaws, no cables etc for HD.
My views are unbiased, but due to the superb Live play etc of the 360 why would you want to swap for the so far, disapointing PS3 online play?

I have used one enough to know what they are like though.
And I still haven't ever said the ps3 was better than the 360.
