It has that reputation and the cars are on the whole well turned out, but there were also some tatty crap things there last year, so they slip through elsewhere.

I think we'll need to be clear - make the effort - but I also think we can do that. I've just given my car a four figure tidy up, so you can start by listing mine in the approvals.

We've also got other people in this thread with good cars which we're going to want there.

We've also got a load of people who have shown with us in the past who we will be asking again. I really don't like this 'we've got no cars anyway' crap.

Not the case! Last years billing had a whole bunch of different cars there from concours style to hand made body kits etc...

Think like most shows just make sure the cars are clean and not rot boxes

Are you seriously saying that JayCarr's, Stav's, both of beardy's, broster's, Ash Warners, etc are not good enough Ollie?

We've some really funny comments creeping in here which I'm going to find it difficult to counter without being a complete bitch.

There were some tatty shitters in the showground, on club stands, so obviously every other club in the world is in no better position.

Furthermore, CS has good cars. Get over it.

Not speaking on behalf of the VBOA as it'd be hard to say as it's made up of all other clubs including MIG, VxON, VVOC, VxLSSC etc.. etc..

As long as the car club are responsible, keep things in order etc.. it's not really about how modified or not the cars are

you would have to sell tickets to cars that you select to show then IMO, not anyone that has this new Membership or whatever you decide

im not saying that peoples cars arent good enough. just over all, are there enough quality cars to do a good stand to start off with a good reputation is what i mean?

if you have 50 places say, would you have 50 different cars, different styles etc? i dont think there would be.

ive been to billing the last 3 years and i agree corsasport would be able to put together a very high standard stand that would fit in fine.

mig had a few very poor quality cars this year, but due to the good presentation of the stand arrangements etc they didnt have a detremental effect to the overall appearance of the stand.

i dont think cs would have an issue over the quality of the stand at all

Yhere wouldn't be 50 places Nic, probably 15-20 at billing.

I can't recall how many cars MIG had, but it wasn't a massive amount really.

the SCC was by far the biggest, as it always is.

was just using it as a random number really robin.

im only saying about the lack of unique cars due to what i see in the projects forum. go on mig some of those cars being built, that cav turbo rwd, lee303 i think it is track prepared nova, those are worth going to see for sure.

look in the projects forum on here

I think we could put together an impressive show for CS there. Plenty of really nice cars for the stand I can think of straight away.
