Right basically my 360 and a mates 360 don't like communicating. We can't chat over live, can't join in games created by either player..... WTF is going on? It works fine between me and my other friends on Live.

On Saints Row for example i'd invite him into my gang lobby and it'd say 'Unable to connect to game, Host disconnected'

Even though i'm there in the lobby, waiting for him.

Same problem with FIFA07 too.

Well my PC yeah, its always been like that.

New twist, another of my friends created a lobby on Saints Row and we are both in it no problems

go to the system blade, then network settings, then Test Xbox Live Connection.

What pops up when it does the test for NAT?

Or one through a pc and one through an router that isn't configured properly?

I'm through a pc, which is connected wirelessly to a Router in another room.

He has that Microsoft Wireless Adapater, and is connected to a router in a different room.

He should check his router is configured properly and short of being able to change some setting on your pc I would think a wireless adapter connecting directly to your router would sort it.

My NAT is moderate apparently.

It sounds like the same problem you get with p2p networks when both sides haven't got a direct connection to the net, such as a nat router that isn't forwarding the ports properly.
