that mini switches are a quality idea.

the switches have turned out to be an absolute nightmare. they arent proper switches, as in the stay on/off, they just send a pulsed output (i assume to an ECU that controls everything)
so i've got alod of switches from halfords, and merged the 2 together to keep it looking the same from the outside, but having proper switches behind it

yeah the 2 air ducts are alloy

yeah mini's use can bus and a central control unit to manage all the cars bits and bobs

means i can cut them up and re-weld them up to suit. dont suppose you know how much they are

right mate had a nosey there are 2 or 3 chargers just sat around but the techs reckon they use the intakes on the new chargers so there isn't any about

Why do you need a switch to turn the ECU on and off and the coil on and off?

the ECU and coil each have their own power supply due to the aftermarket management/loom
