Is this really reasonable to do ?, ive ordered a 60mm kit and ive only got 14" alloys would i get away with putting it on for the time being till i get some 15's or 16's ? My 14's are running 60 profile tyres i thinks maybe 65.

I've been 60mm on 13s before didnt catch on the road.

and Perky Van had 14" and was -60mm with a GSi kit with no trouble.

That doesnt look that too over the top, looks alright really, might keep the 5 spokes 14 inchers just keep em nice and shiney

Probs will have to avoid speedbumps tho, there is only one road round here that has em anyways

Lower it 100mm, and get hydraulics to go over bumps

I had no probs with speed humps really when it was like that, but i doubt i'd a been able to get it on garage ramps, cos its close now with the 16's on...

nah it's good fun, i had it on my old one until i got alloys and i will be the same on my 1.6 until i sort some comp mo's

mine did, on 13s. was a bit close, caught the rubber trim on the bumper, but it didn't catch anywhere else

ahhh, mine gets close on the rear sill just in front of the rear wheel....


oh yeah robin, i've sent that centre section back, so should get the exhaust on soon..... so long as i don't hit anymore bricks !!

i reckon this would look good on black cavalier gsi wheels. guess what, i have some mint ones in my garage at home ...........

If i ever change my wheels it will be for some Softstars, i dont see what all the fuss about speedlines are, they look pretty poo compared to softies.

I said that because softstars are always refered to as the new speedlines but speedlines were never that great ne ways, cav gsi's a bit too thick spoked for me
