simply cannot afford to just pop one in.

rebuilding a 600hp skyline engine, turbos, clutch etc isnt cheap.... ESP when the Impreza is needing a new engine, turbo, clutch too

we had a baffled sump, enlarged block oil drains, external head oil drain before - and it still happened.

Adding another 2l of oil should help even further - but i dont think it'll make it 100% surge proof.

new AP discs fitted to the KSport bells. Old KSport discs were in a shocking state. Not that worn (thickness wise) but one disc was just covered in cracks!

New (or rebuilt) engine arrived from RB Looks great

It could start off microscopic cracks, then just heat cycling made the cracks bigger maybe.

no, its our old engine rebuilt.

The pistons were ok.... old rods, crank were scrap.

so... the re-used parts include block, head, cams. The whole engine has been stripped (block and head) and rebuilt with new seals etc
