started work on some fluid changes today....

4l of Red Line heavy gearoil.... horrible shit to work with, its like red syrup!

Trying to see where we are getting more oil drips from..... car has been sat since Thurs eve, with no new oil drops round engine, but 1 drip round the transfer box / centre diff. :S The front turbo oil drain does look a bit wet with oil, but the whole block does too :/

rear

block

transferbox/diff

Will change the front and rear diffs tomorrow. Def the front as i'm not too sure I have enough LSD diff oil for the rear.

2nd in warm up, 5th in Practice and 6th in qualifying. I think she is better in the wet than others

Sadly it was just short of the cut off to make the finals. Cars in GrpA are just too damn quick

Yea...some of the cars out there were fookin quick! Tho most of them were broken every 5 or 6 laps.

Saw that RX7 go into the tyres at old hall too!...Was Cringing all the way! Dont like seeing those cars leave the tarmac tbh...not like the touring cars where the team just get a new car to patch it up with!...Seemed to come off ok tho, was back out in the next session!

new rear 1/4 GFX

slightly tidier interior

latest weigh in

latest update....

Engine is out... the car developed a bottom end knock at the last track session it was on.

Crank is getting reground, new bearings etc.... app turns out that a main bearing has been too tight and overheated, cracked and caused debris to go through the other bearings

right.... car has the engine back in and running... New ACL race bearings / reground crank etc. A few teething probs ironed out on its last planned trackday for 2008.

Boost : Vac line to BC wasnt getting vaccum, or boost replumbed to another supply. Fixed.

Coolant: Top hose to rad must have been lose and popped off in the pits after a few sessions.

Pics from Sat:

Winter Upgrades have now started too.

ATI Damper pully - Bought
HICAS cancel bar - Bought
Walbro pump to feed swirl pot and twin external pumps - Bought
Apexi PFC D-Jetro - Bought

Next on list will be fitting etc and 'more' lighteight (GRP doors etc)

bring it on.

Not heard glowing feedback on Autobahn88 pish, but feck paying 600 odd quid for the trust/Greddy/hks equiv

I'd rather modify my stadard 'twin turbo' pipe, so its really just the two air filter to turbo intake pipes I want, but I cant find them for sale alone.... in hard materials.

Get this and try to sell what I dont use?!
