i was working on a port and that barrier swings open/shut to stop you driving off a ramp into the sea when there is no ship on the other end of it
basicly it was dark and floodlights were not working and a ship was on th other end so i approached and could not see that the barrier had swung loose shortly after being opened, next thing i know i hear my windscreen get hit by something and something white the size of a cricket ball coming towards my face, luckily i reacted and ducked forwards, the white cricket ball i thought i saw was infact the stub end of the barrier

Forgot about this one! It belonged to a mate of the guy who sprayed my car, his missus was in the passenger seat too and they both walked away fine apart from a couple of bruises.

I don't know but did anyone see the crash on traffic cops, BBC1 tonight at 200?
Basically, queue of traffic during rush hour. Driving in non-articulated lorry driving at 65mph, didn't see the queue of traffic and slammed into it. The driver looked up and thought he hit an Audi A4 Avant. What he didn't realise that he'd crushed a 206 shorter than 1metre, crushing the 23 year old woman. This was between him and the A4. He had been using the in-cab phone. Forensics could detect from her bulbs that her brake lights were infact on - the heat from the filament meant that shards of glass stuck in it as it was hot. VOSA declared the lorry was in fact safe to drive - the brakes were fine. Tacograph also showed next to no braking.
He got the blame. 4 years prison sentence and no licence for 7 years or something like that. Charged under Section 1, death by dangerous driving.
Anyway, the pics of that 206 were nothing compared to what I just looked through.
Glad everyone got out ok, take it easy on the roads etc!

Hit a car head on, bruised my lower back. Week of sleepless nights and was back good as new
As for the bike... engine took all the impact and snapped in half

Just been looking at the mess some people get in again.
Mine ended up perfectly parked up at the kerb, even though I crashed at a considerable speed, I opened the door and walked out. Must have been lucky.
