You can get profesionally designed database driven websites made for less than £1500 you just need to know where to look

I hope you told your client that they where sold a website that is none W3C compliant and on the first page alone I can see 17 errors. Also I can not see living up to the WAI standards as part of the text are hard for me to read on the right hand column.

The developer, sitewizrd, has a far too cluttered site.
I'm not a web designer, just viewed a lot of sites and that is not easy to look at.
Information that people might need should be easy to find.

Like i said, I didnt work on the intitial, my coding I hand code and make sure its W3C complient, sadly the rest of my team bar the other isnt up to these kind of things and overlooks them.. Hence the reason for our interest in starting our own free lance.

We also have to comply to EXACTLY what the customer asks for, we can tell them all about colours, mis matching, complimentry colours and stuff. But at the end of their day we have to design the site to their specifications.

That site is used as an advert, for storing information, and to log in to the CMS.

All of their customers are contacted personally over the phone..fax..or from events.

The principal objective of Web Accessibility is to remind website creators of all the developed techniques for making webpages readable for the handicapped and for all users.

..And i fully agree...

But you tell that to my boss. We all have bosses (unless you work for yourself ) You know what its like.

I would like to orchistrate a very good business which rewards its customers with decent high quality websites and that Is my plan for the future, but the company I am employed by at the moment, their main task is cranking out a high number of moderate quality, accessible sites for cheap.

When i do freelance I do alot more one on one with the company / individual in person, and I treat them with respect and they get my full dedication..Something which I will aim to set up in the future with my future co workers.

I hate flash websites.
I don't care if most people have broadband now.
In the time it takes a flash site to load i've got bored and came back on here.

It's also very annoying when a website plays music, has bits that move about, doesn't allow the user to use the back and forward controls on the browser, takes ages to download, makes the user wait for a bloody movie to download that you don't need to see..... The list goes on.... Flash has no place on the web
