Scratch the Alves thing, he has apparantly said on his website he will remain in Spain for one more season. Guess Lucas Neill is more likely, but hopefully not for a silly price.

REYES AND BAPTISTA TO SWAP
Reyes has spent much of the summer hankering after a switch to Real, although capital rivals Atletico recently lodged a bid.

Arsenal had resisted the overtures from La Liga, but it appears that Reyes' wish to return to Spain has now been granted.

A Real spokesman has confirmed that the two clubs have agreed on a deal which sees Reyes and Baptista swap clubs on season-long loan deals.

England international Ashley Cole is still officially an Arsenal player with less than 30 minutes to go until the transfer window shuts.

Chelsea are reportedly lining up a deal which will see them offer £5m plus William Gallas for the left-back.

wonder what got throguh before the deadline..

Most important to me are if we got anyone to cover at RB. If Cole went to Arsenal and Gallas the other way. And if Utd got anyone.
