not posted for a while, so here is wot i been up to!!!!!

last week i had 4days off, took hitmans car back on the monday evening and after eventful time i bought his other corsa turbo d off him!!!

when it looked like this:-

then on the tuesday i made a start on girl i am cings car, it was blue clio, had been cat d write off and her dad had mended it but was not great job and damaged areas only been painted in rattle cans, and noting colourcoded!

so tuesday stripped car, sorted dents and pre damaged area,

wednesday, primed all plastics and re coated in primer till all texture had gone, masked and primed car in evening

thurday, rubbed car down, went off to pick suspention up for the other corsa, 60ml kit!! then home and painted the car black, was putting car together late on,

friday morning, finished putting car back together before work at 9:30 apart from bonnet!

friday afternoon inbetween split shifts, fitted uspention to find that the wheels were now resting on the arches with it lowered 60ml, hehe

friday night after work, got the grinder out and grinded all the arches at front and got 19s fitted not just happy with 17s that were catching!!!! hehe

saturday afternoon inbwtween shits again, grinded back arches and fitted wheels,

saturday night, grinded arches some more, still catching a little but got full lock, need mroe grinding, then got rid of the few rungs i had in clio and fitted bonnet!!

sunday moning up at 7, washed car, put polish on, then off wot work from 9-3:30, back home for an hour when took polish off, then back to work for 4:30 till 9:30!!!!

been a busy week, hehe

pics of the clio all finished, done on the cheap!!!! came out very well tho looks 10 times beta than before, whish i had taken pics before!

and the corsa now with its 19s on and lowered, loads of cracks everywhere at the min but i think its got potential!!! thinking off going for similar look to scrivs old car(brad finchams) maybe with red, but maybe dark wheels! wanna keep cost down really and i have some spare red paint!

wot do people think??? iaz

the clio was VERY CHEAP, using spare paint really and not charged for time etc!!!!

got rid of 2 dents in roof,

totally skimmed alot of the rear 3/4pannel to get smooth and rid of weves

stripped whole car

smoothed and colour coded bumpers, side strips, spoiler pannel, door handles, boot catch, painted whole car, door shuts and in engine bay also!

done quite alot of work on it but its all pretty simple, had trouble with reactions from the spray can paint but part from that went pretty smoothly!!

got few issues with hitmans corsa c which is a shame so think thats coming back this week, doors have chipped off paint on the wing, and heaters and fans not working so need to take a look at that and sort it all!!

i prefer the arches not smoothed, i dont like them smoothed in at all, makes arches look like they are not there, think there will always be prob of cracking with smoothed arches!

me and kt my old gf unfortuatly finished about 2months ago, i was well gutted, been together for over 5years so was a hard time! especially with a tigra sitting there that i had bought for her!!!

that is being finished off, got it painted in some spare paint to keep cost down, all back together mainly, just need to re trim front seats and get them back in, fit fan belt, top power steering fluid up and try get the engine running a bit betta, its lumpy at the min, think its needs to be given some stick to blow some cob webs out!

will get some recent pics of that tomorrow with bonnet on etc! looks nice all smooth and clean looking

As for the paint job.....anything other than this would be a waste!

From

For some reason it was the first thing I thought of, also reckon you should do the same to that front as you did to Hitmans C!
