Come on Mark don't be a pansy rev it, I want to see a video of the rev counter at at least 10,500 RPM or even 11,500 RPM, then you will have induction noise.

not run it in on the dyno, just got it fired up then mapped it with minimal ignition timing to 5k rpm, when its got some miles on it we'll take it abit further

I think maybe 220 if all the revs are used and there is enough torque up there.

Still..... its going to be an interesting car to drive What are the cams like (or designed to be like?) ? Is it going to have any power (usable) below 4-6k rpm?

If it uses all the revs properly, I'd be expecting over 240 and heading for 250bhp.
I reckon injectors will be the strangling point and 8 injectors may be required at the high RPM. What valves is it running?

dhdev, i shall be chaning to an 8 injector set up in the future along with a coil on plug set up so i can run full sequential fueling and ingition timing. decided to use standard size valve but got them from paul ivey, after alot of thought from both him and others it was decided that there really wasn't tpo be much gain going for anything bigger, they are big as standard compared to other 1.6's

having only driven it a bit, it does idle at just below 1000rpm, bit lumpy buts thats to be expected, i dont imagine it will be nice to drive below 4k rpm,. then again its not designed to do the school run with.

cams are designed to give power at the top of the rev range, they were designed for the engine spec

i would like it to make 230bhp minimal really, but only time will tell, it may not make it but no one knows!

Awk you can give me more info than that! Seat to seat duration, lift? I've designed lots of cams (valve lift profiles actually, you dont design cams) for this engine and just wana see what you went for!

Whats the length of your inlet to the valve and length of your exhaust primaries?
