ed, i couldnt tell you, all i know is its smaller and lighter.... and thinner and means i need a new crank sensor

are you going to be running PAS?

and can you buy a lower 'engine power drain' alternator?

weight of flywheel

whats it being bored out too? and what compression ratio do you intend to run at?

He has a lightweight alternator from what I remember. Would produce less amps if the iron bits in it have been made smaller so cause less drag I guess.

i already have a diddy small race alternator from the last build, but i think its broken, spinning to fast maybe, this new bottom pulley will reduce the rpm of the alternator.

warren, i wont be running PAS, the rack has already been butchered.

as for the bore, not much bigger, still keeping it 1600ish, cant afford to get bigger slipper pistons you see.

compression will be high, was 11.5:1 on last build and this one will be higher

What advantages do you get from running high compression? Nice corsa, remember seeing it in TV.

volumetric efficiency at 10+k rpm is going to be cack, having a high compression ratio will make the most of what air has been drawn into the combustion chamber

got bored so pulled the dash out and started to sort out wires, found loads of rubbish i dont need, like the heated seats wiring etc...... keeping everything going to the standard fuse box for now, but when i put the dash back in ill rewire everything so it all runs to a panal mounted fuse box that will sit where the center console is, which will have an aluminium panal there.... so if anyone needs some dash parts drop me a u2u....

what lenght trumpets are you going too use?

what head are you using now, going for a c16xe head?

looking good, problem being all those polished parts are going to get all oillie

120mm trumpets have been sorted for it.

i have got a c16xe head, but it makes no odds what head i go for as im changing the valve size and itll have alot of work done to it. could go for an x14xe and get the same results. the c16xe head cost me £20 so cant complain!

so long as the oil stays on the inside this time i dont care!

well spent some more money today on these little bits and bobs...

fuel line and JAZ fel tank


fittings and filter:


fire extinguisher- lifeline 2000-4 nozel kit with 2 hand pulls


all for avery good price thanks to a mate who is stripping his track KA, the fuel tank and bits is all unfitted, which is nice too
