my Dad and I tiled the bathroom, he did the straight forward ones and I did the ones around the toilet  Wasn't a bad job in the end, only wasted a few tiles.
I need to clean the place up, looks so much nicer when there's less stuff around, might take some more pics later. Better light today as well.
I can't wait to get a new carpet down, I hate the blue, makes everything look dark. Gonna go for a colour like Ian's, may as well copy him on something

Is yours 2 bed rob? I like the new builds, don't think we will ever have one thou as we want to moved to somewhere between Newport and Cariff because of Richies work but the closer to cardiff we get the more £££ we need

The speakers in the lounge A&E's?
Also where did you get the douvet/pillows and wardrobe from? After something like that for my room and they look good
p.s - maybe we should have house day would be useful? post pictures of houses, list of furniture (where its from etc)...would be cool

Chris - its hard mate but worth it in the end. We ended up getting a 100% mortgage and this ended up freeing the money we had saved to purchase furniture and stuff

Indeed - 8.99 bargain IIRC. Is your sofa from DFS? I'm sure I nearly bought that as well except for the price, and the weight. Mine is third floor, and I wasn't sure about buying something I couldn't get in the door!

yes 2 for £10 or thereabouts. bargain!
Sofa was from ScS. It needed to be taken down the alley and through the french doors at the back. Had to lob it over the fence!

Ahh yes thats the place. They had it in white in the window, lovely thing. I'm sure I sat contemplating for an hour or so before going next door to Argos for some cheap crap equivalent. I wish I had spent more time finding a good sofa - I don't currently like mine. Mine still end up with that one
