When I had the back seats out of my car when it was a 1.2 8v (to make room to carry some big stuff) all I noticed was it was a hell of a lot louder. I was glad when I had something back in there to make it quiet again.

Paul your missing the point a bit, when i had my 1.2 8v i knew it was shit slow, i also could afford nothing bigger at the time, but i would never have dreamt about taking the seats out to make it faster.

he is not that disillusioned to think that taking the seats out will make it faster

i make plenty of nice comments about them actually, for one i said andyw's was the nicest car iv seen for a long time the other day

he posted pics on here, and can see no possible need, look sor performance wise for doing it, so i am questioning the purpose, i am quite within my right to do this kerry anne

When I stripped mine I noticed it was more responsive in acceleration and cornering a tad. Seats are actually really heavy in the 106.

Behave! I had 1 at 18, it was the slowest thing ive ever been in, I drive an electric milk float type thing (pic below lol) in work which is faster!
