if you want your head done i could get it done at Ivor Searle engine reconditioning. A mate works there and i might soon be working there, hes doing mine atm, so will find out how much he can get it done for!

Includes ported polished too. Could find out about re-boreing?

a quick update:

i've been on the phone to a company called randles today who race tune engines in suffolk. they make engines for stock cars mainly and are very good at what they do.

these are the prices which they have quoted me

- over bore to 87.5-88mm (2100cc) - £80
- oversized forged pistons - around £400
- reprofiled camshafts - £60-70 per camshaft
- fully flowed cylinder head - £300

also there is the price of custommade headgasket, arp rod bolts, all bearing shells and gaskets for the rest of the rebuild, fully balancing the bottom end, forged con-rods etc etc

randles also have told me that they can have the engine putting out roughly 230bhp

Looks like I have a few people interested in buying my Dbilas setup - so doubt I'll fit it to my GSi - at least if I sell it it means I can get my digital drumkit
