Fuel Pressure Regulator?

Mine was running very lean, fiddled with that (at the advice of Dave at V-tuning NOT to tinker ) and it runs much better. Certainly not as powerfull top end of the revs, but tbh, i think thats the filter i've got on it. (was only pulling 86mph on the 1/4 on my last run, booooooo).

Brunters is about £4000+ to hire for the day, would need a lot of cars.

Best off just all arranging to go on a set track day at a good track.

On track in it, never. due to several things.

1- no money left
2- been doing my final year at uni, lots of work to do and no time.
3- im lazy

first one is booked for 7th august with pvg.

Deffo not my FPR, swapped injectors, fuel rail, FPR, EGR, CTS, AFM x3, Dizzy, leads, plugs, Supplementary air valve, TPS, OTS, Loom, fuel pump, basically everything that could be replaced has been replaced minus the coil.

Aks List is about right,
james has the cage, brake setup

The only real way to do a track setup with a corsa regarding suspension is to corner weight the car

hence you need coilovers, shims, camber correcting bolts and more

decent set of springs and dampers and ARB is a fair compromise

205 lift off over steer is very controllable and can help point the nose the right way

in the corsa it tends to be all or nothing though

corsa suspension geometry isnt too good for track use

nothing is free

Its pretty easy on petrol.... and its Tax's and tested... so doesnt need towed everywhere

205 mi16 is cheapest and fastest way to enter trackday world

when i did donnington i couldnt loose this white 205 all day, he sat with me everywhere and was a totally smooth driver as well!

Pissed me off slightly as locorage is 450kg, 180bhp, but i then realised how damn good they really are

Going on the criteria all my car is mising then is a cage for it to be termed a "track car".

Even though in my eyes the car is miles away from a track car!

yup your right adam, just a 1/4 mile car, not circuit
bit late in replying to a page 1 post when now on page 5 or so , i know but oh well.

if i was to build a corsa for track i would make it a 1.6 gsi on TB' i think.
i myself find the 2 litre engine in the front o a corsa a bit too heavy for handeling.
would prefer a lighter engine, ok not going to get to the same speeds but would be better round the corners which is waht really matters on the track isnt it?

trying to flat patch setup a corsa with an xe is near impossible unless you seriously weight the rear out

Mi cheap, haha. After vx's it's different I've now got 2 spare MI's in the garage because I KNOW I'll be needed them. Surge is a huge problem. Lift oversteer if fun for pissing about but when do you need to do that? (less the person in front of you spins) Bump oversteer is fun at 100 though, just power on and you go straight again and lost of smoke

Cheapest way is like AK, a stdish 205 with sensible mods, oh and a qwikrack.

Would also say consider a clio 1.8 16v, can be had for peanuts these days 700-1000. Strip and add a bucket. Done, brakes are good std (with the right pads) sus is good (provided the ARB bushes are intacted) and awesome to drive
