Btw, I meant that a good road car (normal homologation one - 250 bhp) would cost that.

To get an Evo or ex works/tarmac/rallycross etc car with serious power...well... blank cheque almost.

The other week there was a standard or Group N car with negligable mileage that was 1 owner and garaged from new for sale, and the fella was asking for 100k.

If he thinks a TVR is slow he obviously has mental and emmotional problems.

Tell him to get a V8 Radical or take up Base/Free Jumping or Russian Roulette.

i never said he said it was slow i said he was bored of it

Pretty much ammounts to the same though.

Fast and noisy and fun to drive is by it's very nature, not boring.

I could understnd him becoming bored with a diesel passat or similar, but TVRs are not famous for promoting boredom.

I can only come to the conclusion that he is a strange sort of lad with a bit of a deathwish or some other form of mental interestingness.

The man who is bored with his TVR is bored with life.

It's Tiptronic too.

Lot of money for a car that's nearly 6 years old too.

are loads of examples about for under 50k... manual ones too...
stupidly quick cars with a couple of choice mods...

Maybe he just fancies a change having driven the TVR for however long. Doesnt mean he is bored of the car or the speed. And he might just want something as fast or faster as he doesnt want to take a step backwards.
