I just cant believe people spend 1000s on building show cars and then buy another car thats not as good to drive around in. I drive my corsa everyday, u will see it in parked in car parks while im shopping, outside friends houses, etc. I just think if u dont use it its a waste.

Imagine the cost of trying to keep that Nova in the same condition as it is now but at the same time using it everyday on the road no matter what the weather. It wouldn't be possible

Some cars are people's pride and joy, if i had that nova, i would not drive it in the wet/during the winter months when salt is on the road.

If i spend all that money on a car, why ruin it when you dont have to and you can use a banger to get you about.

This IMO is a show car nova, i love these motors......credit to the bloke who's built it back to near brand new.

I see ppl's point about why not drive it but no way would i let the british weather ruin this bad boy!

TBH I dont like the colour, I dont like all the bonnet vents and some more subtle buckets would have been nice. Also dont like the big mouth, perspex windows and the single wiper conversion.

Im sure everyone will dis-agree with me though

I think its an amazing car, good mix of track slag and concours condition. Very nicely put together. Maybe a high asking price but if you wanted to do that to a Nova you'd probably spend 20 grand so in that perspective its a bargain.

using a car like that everyday i would say it silly, as you would be buying a car which is worth say 8k and it would go very tatty very quickly plus you couldent really leave it anywhere without being worried.
My corsa is only used on sunny days, i have a second car to run about it.

quite clearly some people have no sense and while the car is in good condition it is still a nova in good condition. and TBH its a fucking vile colour

If you have a 2nd car there is no reason to use it in the winter, I have no use for my Nova in winter and with the hard work gone into it I don't want to see it ruined by the salt and grit on the roads.

so you would never use a brand new car in the rain then ollie

Corsas and novas are run around cars should be used everyday, fuckin silly thinking there precious cool cars cause 99.8%* of other drivers think there cheap shit heaps which they are. A nova is about as cool as the 80's and most people would take the piss for owning a old banger imho.

*may not be true

I'd have an 80's car over a new car, way more character and I'm not interested in refinement and comfert...
