don't tell me you've never not worn a seatbelt?

To be honest, I rarely do, although it only takes 2 seconds and has more advantages than disadvantages, so suppose I should be glad of the fine as it could end up saving me from bad injuries in the long run!

cheers guys

a mate of mine got killed because he wasn't wearing his seat-belt, (although the crash was caused by someone who shouldn't have been driving anyways - but won't go into that).

He went through the windscreen - from the rear seat

At the end of the day, if it goes to court, their word is better than yours, if you were wearing it in the first place you wouldn't have to worry about it!

What I want to know is do they have to show you the evidence (ie the video which proves it?)

He wouldnt show me it and said he would in court, but other than that refused to show me it

I dont think they can do this, anyone else had this?

Cheers

Yes - I'm telling you that, personally I've always worn a seatbelt and I've been driving for 12 years, it's just what I do when I get in the car before I set off each and everytime.

Maybe I'm unique but I doubt it.

Ive always worn a seatbelt, its what you do when you drive. You didnt do it and your an idiot for not doing so, now pay the fine. Why would you want to argue, you are in the wrong and you know it.

You should only ever really take it to court if you are innocent
