we were discussing this last night, and i cant see how the new spring seat will locat on the beam if the old one isnt there ???

when the old one is gone there is still a peice of metal left where the old one was for the new one to slide onto

yep you were all right, it was a piece of tin i could hammer lightly and it peels off
