Author problem with my headlights

following my thread about my new headlights -
i have just been to the garage to see about getting them aligned and they said they cant do them because the are LHD lights

other people have had these lights have you not?
any ideas on what to do?

as ally said you wont be able to get lhd ones anywhere near alligned

Do nothin. U will have 2 change them for MOT tho.

stick some electrical tape over the kcik on the beam, and then take them back and say "align them now biatches"

all you need to do is cover the bit of the headlight infront of where the beam flicks up

theres not much point in getting them alighned anyway, no matter wat you do with them they will always be blinding cars going the other way

lol, my mot bloke said "if you stick some tape here and here, then i cant see a problem with it" so i did, and it passed

it also passed the MoT with no cat on it too, legally

ah, i didnt know i was getting them, so i didnt have a say in the situation, but from the search i did i found this -

this has my lights on it
I then found this -

which does say on the web page -
Please be aware that these headlights are designed to Left Hand Drive (LHD) specification. Some MOT stations will pass the vehicle, but it is down to the discretion of the tester.

leave them, then get them swapped over for mot, then after mot, swap them back again

thats what i used to do

i have morettes now

and i havent had to mot the car with them

dunno what ill do, cos on main beam its how dip should point, and dip is like fog lights really lol

I had those......never had a problem, never had them aligned. Just put standards on for MoT.
