Silly question but what are they? On my service book it says tappets a little noisy Its got under 10k on the clock still

tappets linked to the camshaft open and close the valves in the cylinder head

on 10k miles, the tappets should be silent with good oil levels. its a petrol PSA engine, it does not suprise me TBH

Might have sold it anyway to a mate if he can come up with the money. £4500 and his 95k 205 that need a vip cos he crashed it. Find out tonight. He know's it's been abused
