Probably a 360 but not for a while as I always thought the idea of a console was it's a cheap alternative to PC gaming but for £280 I could get a new graphics card or something so I will wait til they drop in price or something.
Especially with me being a student now

I am the same as Carr. I won/got the first xbox the day before release and ended up selling it. Then about 2 years later bought one again and have recently just sold it. Going to make sure there is games on the 360 worth buying it for.

xbox, starting price is only £200 and they've got some pretty good games lined up for it already

YEah but I'd rather get the full pack than the cheaper one as you don't get a hardrive or anything to save data to do you or is it just a smaller one?

Yes that' what I'll go for. I reckon they might prove more popular this time as the prices will have dropped by the time that the PS3 comes out full price

All xbox's should come with a Silver Membership, which still gives you internet access, but only to check and post scores on games, not to actually play online. Gold Membership is just the new Xbox Live, which is everything, but for a monthly subscription. Silver membership should be free.
The new Nintendo is called the Revolution. Seach on google for the controller for Revolution, and prepare to be shocked

Im getting a Nintendo Wii, i started going off consoles because of price and some of the same old tat just with better graphics coming out.
The wii is different and will play totally different to any console out there.
