after i get my wheels i am goimg for a new engine. was going to get t red top but every one has done that after some thing a bit diffierent thinking more on the lines of havein a turboed 1.4 or 1.6 which will be 16v is this possable any help on this and ideas would be great thanks people

turboing a 1.4 and 1.6 isnt going to be very relilble (sp)

allegedly they blow up a lot. if you spend money on the engine and have proper low comp pistons, would probably run ok

would you have to do this with a supercharger as well plus how much will i be looking at

Matheus Turbo kits

£515 for the Turbo, manifold, wategate etc.

He also sells forged pistons for £240

then add £1500 for management and another £500 for other bits,

throttle bodies are the way forward

going to sound thick but what are throttle bodies and what they do . no none on engines so want to no more pluse at the mo i olny have a 1l 12v cuz of my body mods to keep the insureance down but now i have 2 years no clames i want a biggier power house thanks

throttle bodies - image four cans lined up along a wall, each one resembling a cylinder. Normally an engine has one throttle body that sucks in air for all 4 cylinders - That would be like getting one shotgun and shooting all cans. When you have thottle bodies, each cylinder has a throttle body feeding more air to each cylinder - so it would be like having 4 shotguns, one to shoot each can
