Ours is £140k and thats a mortagage of £380 each a month. We have saved a £13k desposit too. If you are willing to save then it can easily be done. Dont rush into it though. Renting at your folks house is beneficial whilst saving a good deposit. You will alsno need at least £2k to put aside for fees etc

Not where I live. You can do what you want, apart from structural. It is the ideal way to get on the property ladder. You still gain the increas ein house price. I live in a £160,000 house that I wouldn't be able to afford normally.

how can you get a shared ownership property? don't you have to be a key worker (NHS, police, teacher etc)?

Not good IMO but everyone is different

ok then 30years!! Close enough.

Mortgage is £127k if they have £13k deposit!!

Roughly pay back £248k over 30years if 5% interest.

even 30 no chance, interest only on 5% is 583 a month.

jus would like to know what kind of deal he's on because 380 a month is like a rate of 3.25% and interest rates havent been there since 2003

There BOTH paying 380!!! £760 a month all in is more or less 30yrs on £127k & I just used 5% as a benchmark...could be a little less seeing they have a good deposit!
