yeah its about that, think 300bhp is about the very max you could get but thats pushing it a little too far imo.

yep, 300bhp is asking a bit too much boost wise. I think the limits are, iirc, according to the makers of the turbo...

K03 about 220-230
K03s was about 240-250
K04 was about 280-290 but 300bhp has been had on an S3 with that turbo.

Yes my sister had a Mk4 Golf 1.8 20v Turbo spec'd up to the hilt (she loves her Golfs) and it was back and forward to the garage constantly, pile of sh1te, it was that bad she went and purchased a new Megane

I think the problem she had was something stupid like the EML would'nt go out and they could'nt fix it! Replaced loads of parts the light was still on (the car still drove properly though) so basically ripped her off.

vag build quality, erm, how much has my audi cost me in maintenance. Great cars but fucking expensive for replacement parts and too many common failures.

when compared with the Vauxhalls I have owned the VAG cars I know of are built like bentleys!! Fact

Indeed

And it's named after something you sit on

And they're Spanish like straw donkeys

And the model itself has a silly name that means nothing but sounds a bit like 'Cooper' Poss some Mini fanatics that didn't want any legal battles at the chair, sorry, seat factory
