new head is on the way..... replacement valves etc.... transferring all my 'new' SBD bits over to that head...

bent valves, fucked head...

i'm not phoning them just now..... i'm a bit lost for resonable words

What spec was the head? Were the valves special? Bronze guides?

To map it, wouldn't they need to rev it quite high? Wasn't it a freshly rebuilt engine?

did yours slip the belt?

I dont know the full story yet, so i dont want to say X happened, Y is fucked etc etc

All he said was (he was nice and honest about it, saying its not your problem we will deal with it etc) he thinks the tensioner let go or slipped, belt jumper a tooth or teeth, and some valves are bent.

I'm just hoping all my new stuff is ok :/

Mate if that was me I would be spewing. Thats pretty unacceptable. I had my engine rebuilt bottom up in less than 5 days and i'd imagine not that much more time to fit new head and TB's with all your SBD goodies either?

Lets just hope they havent scored any of the pistons which will mean more time for them to be fucking around
