1.2 8v - Spi - What a awful excuse of an engine... 45 bhp from 4 cylinders Pathetic.

I was so close to buying a 1.2 8v when I was looking for a corsa originally - so glad I put up the extra money to get a 1.2 16v at the time

But glad to be on to something quicker now lol - Me and Steve got 112 mph on the clocks down a very very steep hill in his 1.2 8v Snowy Corsa

On the way to National meet

they did an 8v? jeeze i knew the 12v was a gutless ashmatic weeby jeek of an engine but an 8v...poor poor corsa.

8v was found in Nova's.
Regarding the comment about the poor performance figure, this engine was not designed to be hammered but little kids with caps. Taken steadily, i managed 350 miles from the 44 litre tank. In carbs form, it was a more heathly 55bhp.
BTW, had mine sat at 95mph all the way back from the south coast to herts, and it didnt complain at all, even with a boot full of camping gear
